Our approach is intentional: we create with purpose, not pressure. Rather than following the traditional fashion calendar, with its rigid deadlines and risk of overproduction, we release collections only when they're ready — when they truly mean something.
Every piece is designed to serve a clear vision. We prioritise mindful production, minimise waste and reject the culture of excess. For us, fashion isn't about constant consumption, but about thoughtful creation and lasting value.

Choosing the right materials matters to us. Our priorities are comfort, functionality, being PFAS-free and sustainability.
We chose an eco-friendly technical fabric made with ECONYL® regenerated (recycled) nylon yarn.
This fabric is made for sportswear: it offers muscle compression and aids recovery, while being tightly-knit, breathable and providing UV protection (UPF 50+).

Choosing the right consultants to collaborate with on the collection was essential.

We partnered with Bridge & Stitch, a British company specialising in UK clothing manufacturing, which has been creating bespoke collections from design through to production since 2011.

Rachael and her team specialise in working with clothing brands looking to develop ethically conscious collections, made in the UK and Europe. From concept to creation, they handle everything: design development from initial ideas, tech packs, pattern cutting, grading, fabric sourcing, trims, embroidery, printing, labels, factory selection, sampling, production, quality control and packaging.

Their work ethic aligned with ours, and we clicked from day one — they understood our vision and mission for Macau Street 8 straight away.

We're committed to producing high-quality pieces in collaboration with specialist manufacturers who bring deep expertise in sportswear.
Our pieces are made in Europe, in partnership with WAT., a Portugal-based manufacturer. In their own words, WAT. is "an innovative supplier of performance apparel for technically demanding segments." Their technical know-how and forward-thinking approach align with our vision of intentional, well-crafted design.

Manufacturing in Portugal matters deeply to our founder, as a way of honouring the country's long textile heritage and craftsmanship. Through this commitment, we aim to support the industry's continued growth and contribute to the Portuguese economy.
